Okay, how many of you knew that Kanye got the sample from Jay-Z's "Jockin Jay-Z" from Run DMC's "Dumb Girl" song? Be honest! I sure as hell didn't and found out on accident. I was listening to a song on iTunes and left it on until it eventually reached the Run DMC portion of my music library. Just thought you'd find that little bit of information interesting (I know some of you old school hip hop heads already knew this *cough C.J. *cough). Notice, Jay-Z knows his hip hop history very well! His first single off of 'Kingdom Come' ("Show Me What You Got") was a hook borrowed from Flava Flav (did you know that as well)?
